Radio B has created a platform and movement for the Virginia underground Hiphop scene, and it’s artists/emcees/lyricists called RVA Rap Elite. It has been covered by RVA Mag, Style Weekly, CBS 6 News, Richmond PBS/VCU Insight, The Cheats Movement Blog, ReallyRap.com and more! It clashes vintage Hiphop nostalgia with modern day digital display and exposure. There is a monthly live event, as well as a monthly Youtube show. The next episode is October 27th at The Dark Room!

It features Live Performances by Virginia Beach’s own veteran emcee Intalek as well as Richmond’s Ndefru., an emcee battle between Habeeb vs Jordan Bailey and a Live Open Beat Cypher for Producers!

The main course for RVA Rap Elite has been our Open Cypher! Where a maximum of 30 emcees duke it out to become the Episode Champion and hopefully Season MVP! The Cypher is raw, pure, action packed and extremely entertaining. The different looks, sounds, and styles of emcees never gets old, and it seems like the cypher just gets better and better every month!
